Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion assist with the distribution of Holy Communion during Mass and, where authorised, may bring the Eucharist to parishioners who are sick or unable to attend church. This is a special ministry of service, helping others encounter Christ in the Blessed Sacrament. Those who are called to his ministry must undertake the DBS process.
